カリンはちみつ漬け Honey Soaked Chinese Quince

神流町の木古里さんからもらったカリンを

上野村のはちみつで漬けました。

カリンの果実は喉の炎症に効くので、咳どめなどにもとってもよいみたいです。

語呂合わせで「金は貸すが借りない」の縁起を担いで庭の表にカリンを植え、

裏にカシノキを植えると商売繁盛に良いそうです！！　植えなくちゃ！

カリンのはちみつ漬けレシピ
カリン　2個
はちみつ　カリンが浸かるくらい（今回は1.2kくらい）

カリンを切って、種ごとはちみつに漬ける。
時々容器を動かし浮き出たかりんに蜂蜜をからめます。
2ヶ月くらい待って、できあがり！

味見したい方、２ヶ月後にいらっしゃ〜い。


Honey Soaked Chinese Quince
We made Honey soaked Chinese quince with the fruit from KIKORI in Kanna-machi and Ueno-mura made honey .
We hear that the fruit of chinese quince effects good on the inflammation in the throat.
A proverb says that,
It will bring the good luck for you business to plant the Chinese quince tree in your garden and plant the evergreen oak on the back.
It comes from a Japanese play on words.
The chinese quince in Japanese, we call it "Karin" and this word means as "I never borrow".
And evergreen oak tree is "Kashi", it means the "loan".
Should we plant them!?

RECIPE
2 fruit of chinese quince.
Honey (quantity of the fruit can get full soaked in your bottle. We used 1.2kg in this time)

Cut the fruits(do not remove the seeds) and soak them into the honey.
Sometimes shake the bottle to soak the over floated part of the fruit.
After 2 mouths, complete.
